NORTH WEST AMBULANCE SERVICE NEW CALL CENTRE

North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust opened a new Emergency Control Centre in Preston on 30th January, 2012.

Neslo's Solar system was specified by Aedas Architects, Manchester to provide outstanding sound insulation, and acoustic properties to the ground and first floors of the control centre. Acoustic barriers were also fitted to the ceiling and floor voids along with full height double glazed doors.

Neslo working with Overbury, were able to adhere to tight timescales to ensure the project was completed on time.

ESSA ACADEMY, BOLTON

Neslo Partitioning working in conjunction with Sheppard Robson, were specified and selected to install the glazed partitioning at Essa Academy in Bolton, a specialist, state-funded independent academy. This scheme involved the supply and installation of glazed partitioning using our Trimwall system, to the main entrance and reception area on the ground floor and further partitioning on the first floor.

MOUNT PLEASANT DEVELOPMENT - CLARENCE STREET, LIVERPOOL

Neslo are delighted to work with Wates to offer first hand training and great opportunities for apprentices on the Mount Pleasant Development in Liverpool. Working with apprentices helps turn raw enthusiasm in to life skills and also helps benefit Neslo as it helps avoid future skill gaps in our business. We have found that the apprentices efforts influence others especially as they are fully committed to work with us and they really want to learn new skills.

NESLO PARTITIONING WINS £230K CONTRACT AT SKELMERSDALE COLLEGE

Neslo Partitioning are pleased to announce against fierce competition, that we have secured the £230K contract at Skelmersdale College for the glazed screen works. This will be carried out using Neslo’s finest frameless Solar Clearline system and work starts on site in May 2011 until July 2011.

NESLO PARTITIONING OPERATIVES WIN SUBCONTRACTOR OF THE MONTH AWARDS

Three Neslo Partitioning operatives won Sub Contractor of the month Awards when Bam Construction acknowledged the excellent work they have carried out at West Cheshire College, Ellesmere Port.

£150k - £200k PONSONBY HOUSE, MANCHESTER - REFURBISHMENT/PARTITIONS

Neslo are pleased to have completed the refurbishment and fit-out of Ponsonby House Manchester for Carillion plc. The following compliment was received from Carillion Building:

NESLO PARTITIONING WINS HEALTH AND SAFETY AWARD

Neslo Partitioning has been recognised for its dedication to health and safety and awarded BAM’s Health and Safety Award. BAM Construction have acknowledged Neslo Partitioning’s commitment towards protecting the health and well-being of its employees through safe practice and contributing towards an accident free site at West Cheshire College, Ellesmere Port.

Steve Hellon, Operations Manager for Neslo Partitioning, said “ It is a privilege to receive this award and we are delighted to have successfully exceeded the criteria. We have achieved excellence in health and safety performance by creating an environment in which employees feel safe and are well educated on health and safety within the work place”.

West Cheshire College Ellesmere Port Campus, (value £1.7m). Neslo Partitioning are delighted to have secured the contract for the partitioning and interior fit-out of West Cheshire College Ellesmere Port Campus with BAM Construction. This scheme involves the supply and installation of glazed and solid partitioning, together with associated interior fit-out to 4 floors of this new college which opens early 2011. Neslo have used their expertise to work closely with the design team on standard and bespoke aspects of the project, to achieve the required quality finish for this unique educational facility.

West Cheshire College Handbridge Campus (Value £110k). Neslo Partitioning are pleased to announce we have been selected by BAM Construction to supply and install the glass partitioning at Handbridge Campus, using our Clearline frameless glazing system. It is due to be completed this Autumn.

Neslo were specified and selected to install glazed screens at Shrewsbury General Hospital. As part of the Government’s drive to improve privacy and dignity within the hospital wards, Neslo worked within a tight programme to ensure there was little disruption to patient care. The visually stunning effect used Frameless double glazed Clearline with integral blinds and double glass sliding doors.  The improvement to each individual ward was extremely well received by staff and patients alike.

Following on from Neslo’s excellent works completing the new SARS Force Relocation Unit, Neslo were again specified to create an Officers Mess at RAF Valley and started back on site in the summer of 2009.  Using the Flushwall system, Neslo will be creating ensuite bedrooms for the Single Living Accommodation Block and also the Combined Officers and Juniors Ranks attached to this.

Neslo are delighted to have secured the contract for the North Liverpool Academy and work has started on site. Neslo are providing the demountable and solid partitions from our Trimwall system, creating a light open feel, whilst giving durable finishes within the college. Neslo are also using curved Flushwall which gives the feel, strength and acoustic qualities of a solid wall without the weight and inconvenience of “wet trades”. Using the Clearline system, Neslo have also been able to create an elegant and distinctive frameless partitioning system giving a visually stunning effect.

BAE are expanding further and have ordered two new buildings for their Preston based operations. Having been specified by Fairhursts Architects of Manchester, Neslo are proud to have won the contract for the glazed partitions, amid stiff competition. This scheme involves the supply and installation of glazed demountable partitions from the Neslo Clearline range. Work commenced on site in November 2008.

Neslo have been specified to carry out the next phase of Lancashire Police's new Headquarters in Preston. This follows on from the excellent work carried out in Phase 1. Work involves the installation of solid and glazed demountable partitions. Neslo are delighted to secure this repeat order from a satisfied and long standing client.

Neslo have secured the contract for the latest partition phase at the Liverpool of Tropical Medicine, commencing in July this follows on from the excellent works carried out by Neslo in the earlier phases.

Bangor University is undergoing major refurbishment and Neslo have been successful in winning the contract via competitive tender. Work involves major refurbishment to a Grade 1 listed main art building and bespoke renovation to antique features.
